Japanese brand has brand new digs at 237 Alexandra Road
Singapore - October 7, 2016 - Suzuki and official distributor Champion Motors have held the grand opening for the new Suzuki showroom on the Alexandra/Leng Kee ‘automotive belt’ today.
Present at the launch (left to right) were: Koh Ching Hong, the CEO for Inchcape South Asia, Kazayuki Yamashita, Group Manager for Global Automobile Operations for Suzuki Motor Corporation, Ann Kok, actress and Suzuki Vitara ambassador, and Desmong Wong, Director of Suzuki Sales & Marketing for Champion Motors.
The new showroom, located at 237 Alexandra Road, The Alexcier, #01-08, Singapore 159929, boasts 7,000 square feet of space and was renovated at the cost of $2-million dollars. This is more than twice the floor space of the brand’s previous showroom at Ubi’s Automobile Megamart.
Suzuki says the new showroom can display a total fleet of 18 display and demo cars, and also includes a small garden and cafe/bar with an all-important phone charging station.

The opening of the new premises means a more convenient location for most customers: Suzuki says one of the key benefits is to ‘enhance customer’s shopping convenience and elevate the retail experience’.
Previously the Suzuki showroom was located at Pandan Gardens, on the West Coast. Those premises will be the future corporate home of Inchcape, the parent company for Borneo Motors, which distributes Toyota and Lexus here, and Champion Motors.
