Mini is bidding goodbye to the Clubman with the Final Edition, which will be limited to 1,969 units worldwide, of which just five are allocated to Singapore

SINGAPORE

Mini is bidding farewell to its Clubman with the launch of the Final Edition, a runout model that will be limited to just 1,969 units worldwide, a reference to the year when the original Clubman was released. Of these, just five units have been allocated to Singapore, with a retail price of S$264,888 inclusive of COE.

The Clubman Final Edition is based on the Cooper S model, which means a 2.0-litre turbo engine with 178hp and 280Nm of torque. The car is available with a choice of three body colours, namely Nanuq White, Enigmatic Black, and Melting Silver, and the five units for Singapore will have a combination of all three, while stocks last. The car is further complemented by highlights in Shimmer Copper, which feature around the grille, on the alloy wheels, and on the various styling details around the body.

Inside, the Final Edition gets unique elements that mark out the car’s unique status. The seats are upholstered in Dark Maroon leather, with anthracite-coloured Piquet fabric inserts and blue contrast stitching. The dashboard trim is finished in matte shimmering Sage Green Dark colour, with Shimmer Copper highlights. There are also ‘Final Edition’ lettering throughout the interior, and special ‘1 of 1969’ badges to signify the exclusivity of the model.

The demise of the Clubman in its current iteration marks a major shift of the Mini brand, which aims to move to be an all-electric brand by 2030, starting with the next generation Mini Cooper hatch and Mini Countryman. A potential indirect replacement for the Clubman could be the upcoming planned Aceman model, although that takes the form of a sleek coupe-SUV rather than the wagon-style that is the Clubman.
