CarBuyer Singapore’s Mega Huat Draw has its second winner. We spoke to August’s lucky car buyer to find out how he intends to spend his S$8,888 winnings.

CarBuyer Singapore’s Mega Huat Draw has officially announced its August winner. Mr Tan Hoo Kiat, a contractor by occupation bought his Mazda 3 M-Hybrid from participating dealer The Car Enthusiast for his daughter who is expecting a new addition to their family. His purchase won him the S$8,888 monthly giveaway prize for August, which means the search for September’s winner now begins.

Speaking on his behalf, Mr Tan’s daughter, Ms Tan Wei Ying said “I’m very thankful to The Car Enthusiast for recommending us to participate (Mega Huat Draw).”

Having already the intention to purchase a car, Ms Tan said that the Mega Huat Draw really incentified the process after coming across CarBuyer Singapore’s Marketplace.

Mr Tan found his daughter’s soon-to-be Mazda 3 M-Hybrid on The Car Enthusiast’s listings on CarBuyer Singapore’s Marketplace and describe the process as “smooth and easy, as everything is on the digital platform”.

The elated Ms Tan says that she looks forward to “more father-daughter bonding time with an overseas trip in mind” thanks to the Mega Huat prize.

The Car Enthusiast is one of the many listed dealers featured on CarBuyer Singapore’s Marketplace. Ms Jia Shin of The Car Enthusiast said “the low subscription fee, which included the unlimited listing fee, and a zero hosting fee” was enough to convince them to join CarBuyer Singapore’s portal.
