Honda Singapore is introducing a doorstep test drive service for customers interested in the Honda Accord or CR-V

SINGAPORE

Kah Motor, Honda’s official distributor in Singapore, is the latest dealer here to introduce a doorstep test drive service. The service is currently only available for Honda’s Accord and CR-V models, but Kah Motor says that it will eventually extend the service to the rest of the range in the near future.

Interested customers can arrange for a test drive at this link, and a sales representative will get in touch to arrange for a test drive at the customer’s preferred location. The actual test drive itself will last for around 20 minutes, and is only available on weekdays, and not offered on weekends, public holidays and the eve of public holidays.

Honda is the latest brand in Singapore to introduce such a service, joining the likes of Toyota, Lexus and Kia who all introduced their own doorstep test drive services last year. The proliferation of such services was driven in part by the Covid-19 pandemic, and aims to serve customers who are reluctant to throng the crowds at showrooms when shopping for a car.

Indeed, Kah Motor emphasises that strict health and safety operating procedures, such as sanitisation of the vehicle before and after every test drive session and mandatory use of face mask and shield, will be enforced. The sales representative will also ensure that the customer is not unwell before proceeding with the test drive.
