Audi Singapore expands its compact SUV range with the Audi Q3 with a new 2.0 TFSI engine, prices start at S$229k with COE
SINGAPORE
One of Audi’s best-selling models in Singapore, the Q3 small SUV, is now being offered with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine and quattro all-wheel drive. It’s priced at S$229,853 with COE for the normal SUV bodystyle, and the Q3 Sportback coupe-SUV is S$239,419 with COE.
The small SUV now features a new 2.0 TFSI engine for the regular Q3 variant, giving them 190hp and 320Nm of torque. It also now comes with all-wheel drive, which will give you more stability and traction in bad road conditions. Also different from before is the presence of a petrol particulate filter for improved emissions performance.
This marks an expansion of the Q3 lineup, with the car debuting in Singapore in 2019 with a 1.4-litre engine with 150hp and front-wheel drive, and the Q3 Sportback joining in with the 2.0-litre engine first. That car was also the S-Line model, which is now no longer offered. Then there was the mega-quick RS Q3 that joined the party : CarBuyer has tested that pocket rocket SUV in both regular and coupe-SUV Sportback versions.
As before, boot capacity sits at 530-litres expandable to 1,525-litres, depending on the position of the rear seats. The backrest of the rear seats can be tilted in seven different positions, while the seats themselves are able to be moved back or forwards by 150mm.
Infotainment in the Q3 and Q3 Sportback is available with the MMI Navigation Plus system. A 10.1 inch touch display sits in the centre of the instrument panel, and a 12.3 inch Audi virtual cockpit is also available. Audi connect services are also in the new Q3 with many functions bundled in the myAudi app.
Apart from the Q3 and Q3 Sportback 2.0, Audi is set for a busy year. With cars like the E-Tron S and the RS 3 set to hit the roads very soon in Singapore, you can expect more from Audi in 2022.
