Big petrol discounts and cheaper car washes are on the cards at Caltex this National Day

SINGAPORE — If you’ve ever felt that being a motorist is like being the tax man’s favourite whipping boy, this will gladden the soul: Caltex is giving something back to drivers, with five promotions that celebrate SG50.

Here they are in a nutshell:

Win a BMW (but only if you use a UOB card)

From now till August 31st, every $50 nett spent per transaction with a UOB Card at any Caltex service station entitles you to one chance to win a BMW 218i Active Tourer, a car we quite like.

Free National Day Decal 2015 (if you spend $50, that is)
Caltex and SAFRA are celebrating a “shared journey” with a
National Day 2015 car decal — yours if you spend $50 gross spend at any Caltex service station, only while
stocks last.

20% off petrol on National Day weekend (for SAFRA members)
From August 7th to 9th, all SAFRA members will be entitled to a 20 percent petrol discount, inclusive of any prevailing station discount. Petrol discounts are not valid for any
purchases made using the Caltex StarCard or StarCash card and Cabbie 21 card, just so you know.

National Day weekend car wash at half price (again, only if you’re a SAFRA member)

SAFRA members get a 50 percent discount voucher with any fuel purchased on August 7th to 9th, while stocks last. The voucher can be used at any Caltex Car Wash with Sonax location until August 31st.

Discount for Techron Concentrate Plus
From now to August 30th, you can buy a second bottle of Techron additive for half the price at all Caltex service stations in Singapore.

We’ve dyno tested the stuff. It’s one of our favourite additives, and could be a nice treat for your car as the SG50 festivities get into full swing.

Besides, we can’t all afford to buy a Rolls-Royce to celebrate SG50.
