SENTOSA, SINGAPORE

The 16th edition of The Audi quattro Cup concluded with Don Chan & Dennis Peh emerging as winners of the prestigious event. The Singapore edition of the world’s largest amateur golf championship, took place at the Sentosa Golf Club’s iconic The Serapong course, on 15 August.

The event saw 134 participants, in two-player teams vying for top honours, to represent Singapore in the World Finals at the Al Mouj Golf Club in Muscat, Oman, from 15-19 November. This year’s tournament also saw three hole-in-one prizes from Audi Singapore – the flagship Audi Q8 e-tron, the Audi Q4 e-tron and Q4 Sportback e-tron.

“The Audi quattro Cup not only commemorates Audi’s long-standing connection to golf – it provides a platform and community for our Audi partners, customers and golf enthusiasts all over the world. Every year, we look forward to hosting the Singapore edition and celebrating its lasting success,” said Markus Schuster, Managing Director, Audi Singapore. “Don and Dennis’ performance out on the green was truly outstanding, and I wish them all the best at the World Finals in Oman.”

As winners of the event, Don Chan said: “It’s such a surreal experience for us. The Audi quattro Cup is always a special experience – we came here to have fun and didn’t expect anything. But winning is a great way to end the day.”

Dennis Peh added: “Don and I actually reconnected a few weeks ago, after not meeting for a long time. To be paired together unexpectedly, and now winning the tournament, has been both fun and nerve-racking, especially when we were monitoring the final few points!”
