EV Weekend, Singapore’s biggest electric car show, is here again. Featuring the latest electric cars, service providers and industry players, EV Weekend is back for its second year, and takes place from 8 to 13 November, 10am to 10pm daily, at the North Atrium of Suntec City Singapore. In 2021, Hong Seh Evolution (HSEV) was appointed as Chinese brand DFSK’s Exclusive Authorised Distributor in Singapore. HSEV maintains a full dealership that retails and maintains DFSK’s full-electric commercial vehicles, with the possibility of introducing electric passenger vehicles here in the near future.

Right now, this is one of the cheapest commercial vehicles to run and maintain in Singapore. The DFSK EC35 is powered by a single electric motor and lithium iron phosphate batteries that offers a driving range of up to 280km on a single charge. Its battery can be fully charged from 20 per cent to 80 per cent with a DC quick charger. A large cargo space measuring 1,270mm in height and 1,440mm wide allows for the carrying of large items. The DFSK EC35 has a total cargo volume of 4,800 litres with a maximum payload capacity of 1,100kg. It’s cheap to operate too, and HSEV claims that the EC35 has a running cost of just S$7.76/100km.
