The fastest and most powerful hyper sports car ever built in Spain is now on sale in Singapore

SINGAPORE — It wasn’t that great of an auto-themed film, so we’re guessing fans of “Need for Speed” only like it for one reason, the cars. One such car is the GTA Spano, the fastest and most powerful car to come out of Spain.

EuroSports Global, local authorised dealer to prestigious brands like Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, Pagani and Touring Superleggera, is now in possession of one out of only 99 units made. In Singapore, the GTA Spano costs $3.58 million without COE and options.

The car was unveiled by Domingo Ochoa, founder and CEO of Spania GTA and Melvin Goh, CEO of EuroSports Global at the showroom in 30 Teban Gardens Crescent.

“The GTA Spano is a very exclusive supercar, hand-built only on order for a very perceptive market niche and discerning group of clients with a keen eye for innovative aesthetics and technology”, said Goh at the launch held last Thursday, April 14.

The Spanish supercar that no one’s heard of has an enormous, Chrysler-sourced V10 engine that produces a claimed 925 horsepower and 1,220Nm of torque. That’s enough to send it to 370km/h, passing 100km/h in only 2.9 seconds along the way.

Using a newly-developed chassis by Spania GTA made from carbon fibre, graphene, titanium and Kevlar, the 4,680mm by 1,980mm by 1,180mm GTA Spano weighs only 1,400kg.

Other things that make this car special is that access to the interior is accomplished by pressing a specially designed GTA logo-button on the side, which renders this car handle-less.

It also doesn’t have a central rear-view mirror, in the traditional sense. Instead it uses a camera found at the back of the car, that projects the rear view onto an LCD screen located on the instrumental panel.

So if you had $3.58 million in spare cash, would you rather one GTA Spano or a combo of the new Porsche 911 Carrera S, Bentley’s Bentayga SUV and the final Jaguar Lightweight E-Type? All of which were launched in Singapore in the same week.
