Lexus has released more images of its future EV product lineup, which was first announced as part of the brand’s major electrification plan

SINGAPORE

Lexus has released more pictures of its future electric vehicle (EV) lineup, which will form a major part of the brand’s strategy to go fully electric by 2030, as announced by the company in December 2021.

The highlight of the upcoming Lexus EV range is the Sports Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), which Lexus says embodies the spirit of the iconic LFA supercar. It adds that the Sports BEV will have a 0-100km/h sprint time in the ‘low two-second range’, while having an electric driving range of over 700km, thanks to the use of solid state batteries.

The other EVs that Lexus previewed include the RZ SUV, which is essentially the brand’s version of Toyota BZ4X crossover, as well as the larger Lexus SUV BEV, which looks to be similar in size to the Lexus RX luxury crossover. There is also the Lexus Sedan BEV, which looks like a sleeker, electrified version of the brand’s IS sedan.
