Part 2 of CarBuyer Singapore’s guide to new cars coming to Singapore from each brand in 2023
SINGAPORE
It’s that time of the year again, and CarBuyer Singapore has rounded up all the new cars that will make their way here in 2023. We are rolling them out in alphabetical order, and here we present the second part of the series.
As always, the cars are officially-imported versions and do not include parallel imports. Information here is collated from official sources too, and launch dates are subject to change. Prices shown are including COE unless stated, and all prices are our own estimates unless specifically stated.
In case you missed it, Part 1 (A to C) is here.

Honda’s Jazz will get a mid-life facelift in the early part of 2023, with supposedly a more efficient drivetrain and updated equipment among the changes. More interestingly, we will also see the arrival of the Jazz Crosstar, an ‘SUV-fied’ version of the Jazz with a more rugged design and a raised ride height. The car has already been spotted on the official dealer Kah Motor’s showroom floor, so expect the sales order books to open soon.

The all-new sixth-generation CR-V is expected to be here by the second quarter of this year, and Honda’s family SUV will get a completely new look, as well as updated drivetrains. Variants for Singapore are yet to be confirmed, but overseas markets get a 1.5-litre turbo engine (likely similar to the Civic) as well as a 2.0-litre hybrid version.

The City will also get a mid-life facelift in Q2 2023, although it is expected to feature only minor cosmetic changes. The car will get a redesigned front grille, revised front and rear bumpers, and new alloy wheel designs. Aside from that, expect the City to remain pretty much the same as before.

Honda’s large executive sedan will officially get a hybrid version in the fourth quarter of this year. The model, which has already gone on sale in neighbouring markets such as Thailand, uses a 2.0-litre engine matched with a pair of electric motors, for a total combined output of 215hp. The current-gen Accord has not been a major sales success in Singapore so far, but Kah Motor is hoping that the hybrid will bolster its appeal here and take the fight to the Toyota Camry Hybrid.
Variants: 3.5 V6
When: Jan 2023
How much: S$288,999 with COE
Already seen on the Komoco showroom floor, the gigantic Palisade SUV gets a mild mid-life update for 2023. Externally, the biggest change is the new, more imposing front grille, while inside, the car is now a seven-seater (instead of eight previously), with the second row featuring a pair of luxurious captain’s chairs. The Palisade has also been given a substantial upgrade in terms of driver safety, with the upgraded Hyundai SmartSense suite of driver assistance systems now available.
Variants: EV, Hybrid
When: H2

The second-generation Hyundai Kona will make its debut in Singapore in the second half of this year, featuring a major dramatic redesign that’s ultra-futuristic, as well as more interior room all around. The styling borrows cues from the Ioniq 5 EV, with the front and rear of its slim light, while the interior has also been repackaged to deliver more space for passengers. As before, Singapore is likely to get the hybrid version, as well as the full-battery EV model.
Variants: 1988 Limited Edition
When: Q1
How much: TBC
The V8-powered F-Pace SVR performance SUV gets a special 1988 Limited Edition this year, which is meant to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Jaguar’s victory at Le Mans. Limited to just 394 examples worldwide, the 1988 edition is finished in the same unique purple shade (called midnight amethyst) as the race-winning XJR-9 Le Mans car, while the alloy wheels and badges are also finished in gold.

When: Q3

Jaguar’s ground-breaking electric car will get a major update this year, with the I-Pace getting a revised design and updated equipment. The front end gets a new grille as well as aerodynamic enhancements for improved efficiency, while there are also additional equipment packages, although final specs for Singapore have yet to be confirmed. Power and drivetrain are expected to remain unchanged, although being an EV, any power upgrades can simply be done via software updates.
