Pioneer introduces its new AVH-A245BT multimedia receiver for 2021, which features the WebLink Cast app mirroring technology for greater connectivity

SINGAPORE

Pioneer has launched its new AVH-A245BT 2-DIN multimedia receiver, which joins Pioneer’s A-Series line-up of receivers for 2021. The AVH-A245BT brings Pioneer’s Car Connected Experience, which includes features such as WebLink Cast (for both iPhone & Android phones) to drivers here, offering them seamless connectivity at a competitive price.

The AVH-A245BT is equipped with WebLink, a free in-vehicle app platform that allows drivers to mirror and interact with their iOS or Android smartphone’s screen on the receivers’ displays. Using the in-built WebLink Cast application via a USB connection, drivers can access their favored navigation, communication, productivity, and entertainment apps from their phone in a driver-friendly format.

Pioneer’s audio engineers have also updated the new AVH-A245BT receiver with high-fidelity audiovisual features, more commonly found on flagship receivers. These include playback support for FLAC lossless audio files, and the ability to support a variety of Full HD (1080p) video formats over a USB connection. It also includes Pioneer’s signature feature, such as support for backup camera in a refreshed and intuitive user interface.

The Pioneer AVH-A245BT is now available, and retails for S$549, including GST.
