SP Group to ramp up EV chargers at Singapore Land Tower and West Mall

SP Group inks partnership with Singapore Land Group, to increase the number of public charging points at the latter’s Singapore Land Tower and West Mall properties

SINGAPORE

Good news for EV owners. Singapore Land Group (SingLand) and SP Group (SP) have ramped up efforts to increase EV charging facilities at the former’s properties. Singapore Land Tower received four new charging points last Thursday, while another four will be installed at West Mall by end 2024. The addition of the charging points at West Mall, which will consist of two AC destination chargers and two DC fast chargers, will bring the number of chargers at SingLand’s properties to 38.

In a bid to encourage low-carbon modes of transport at its properties, SingLand is also in further discussions with SP to increase the number of charging points at Marina Square.

Mr Nicholas Loh, Head of Building Management Services at SingLand, said: “We are pleased to work with SP to roll out more electric charging points at our properties. This allows us to meet growing demand as more drivers make the switch to electric vehicles, while enabling us to do our part to support the nation’s transition to a cleaner-energy vehicle population by 2030. We look forward to deepening our collaboration with SP, our preferred charging partner, to install more charging points at our properties and to bring more value-added EV services to our tenants and shoppers.”

“Our partnership with SingLand will provide EV drivers in Singapore greater convenience and accessibility as we continue to expand charging facilities at SingLand properties. This offers EV owners wider charging options where they work and play,” said Mr Dean Cher, SP Group’s Head of Mobility. “With more locations across Singapore added to our extensive charging network, we are empowering Singapore’s drive on green mobility and enabling a concerted shift towards decarbonisation.”

In ogre to entice more EV drivers to charge at its properties, SingLand and SP will roll out seasonal promotions in the form of rebates, where drivers can receive charging vouchers on the SP app, based on a predetermined minimum amount, to offset future charging sessions. SingLand properties’ season parking holders will be able to benefit from specially tailored subscription packages across SP’s EV charging network across the island.
