The Maxus MIFA 7 lands in Singapore

The Maxus MIFA 7 is all the comfortable, practical electric MPV a family needs, if they choose to go green

SINGAPORE

Just a year after the unveiling of its larger sibling, the Mifa 9, in Singapore, the mid-sized Mifa 7 MPV makes landfall.

At a quick glance, it probably is difficult to differentiate the MIFA 9 from the MIFA 7 since both cars share very similar styling. The MIFA 7 seamlessly blends sleek modern design elements – vertical headlights with thin horizontal daytime running lights, concealed aerodynamic door handles and multi-spoke 18-inch rims, that collectively give the car a commanding presence.

Att 4910mm in length, 1885mm in width, and 1756mm in height, the MIFA 7 is designed as a more compact version of the MIFA 9 MPV. But while it is smaller, it still offers similar levels of equipment and passenger comfort as its larger sibling. Its smaller size allows for easier manoeuvring around the city.

The MIFA 7 comes with a large side door aperture, which allows for easy access to the middle and last row.It is equipped with an array of creature comforts. For starters, it boasts a generously-sized 12.3-inch high definition infotainment touchscreen, and a driver display of the same size. For those who appreciate good audio, the MPV is equipped with a premium 8-speaker JBL sound system. On the go, you get wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, while the panoramic sunroof is a great feature at letting natural light enter the cabin, giving passengers a sense of airiness.

The MIFA 7’s 90kWh battery has a charging time of 8 hours 30 minutes, from 5 to 80-percent, with an 11kW AC charger, and does the same in 40 minutes with a 120kW DC charger. Its front-drive motor produces 237hp and 350Nm, which gets it to 100km/h in a comfortable 9 seconds. Officially, it has a consumption rating of 20.5kWh/100km, which gives the MIFA 7 an acceptable range of 480km.

The MIFA 7 is available in two trims – Luxury and Premium; where the latter Is equipped with premium Napa leather upholstery, memory adjustable front seats, with ventilation. The luxury model makes do with faux leather upholstery, and a manually-adjustable front passenger seat.

The MIFA 7 is priced at S$223,999 for the Luxury variant while the Premium model will set you back S$228,999. All prices are inclusive of COE.
