The new Porsche Studio Singapore has officially opened at Guoco Midtown, featuring a unique experience that combines retail, F&B and community spaces

Porsche has officially opened the new Porsche Studio Singapore, which will serve as Porsche’s official showroom in Singapore. Located at Guoco Midtown in Bugis, the new facility spans almost 8,500 square feet across two storeys, and promises to offer a unique experience for Porsche customers and fans.

The first floor features a cosy welcome area where visitors can sit and enjoy the space with like-minded enthusiasts, with a cafe, dubbed Cafe Carrera and operated by Baker & Cook, offering food and drinks for sale. Next to the welcome area is the Porsche Lifestyle concept store, which will be filled with creative display items, as well as merchandise available for sale.

The facility features a built-in car hoist that can help move cars around the studio, and Porsche says that the system is a unique concept exclusive to the Singapore store. Selected Porsche cars, either classic or new models, will be displayed on rotation, and for the opening, Porsche is showcasing an exclusive Porsche ‘Prototyp’ collection – inspired by the “Active Camouflage” wraps of prototype test vehicles, as well as the Taycan Cross Turismo used in the recently-concluded “Taycan Record Run”.

The second floor of the showroom space is designed to be modular and flexible, allowing it to be configured for different functions and activities, for example a yoga class or a product training presentation, or even a full-scale catwalk for a fashion show. Two driving simulators are available for Porsche fans to experience the excitement of e-sports racing in Porsche cars virtually.

The Porsche Studio also features co-working spaces where Porsche enthusiasts can gather and work, and the showroom is filled with numerous artefacts and reading materials that are a nod to both Porsche’s history and Singapore’s heritage. There is also an outdoor community space outside the showroom that is suitable for hosting gatherings for Porsche fans, and the brand says that there is already a planned weekly event for enthusiasts in the works.

For customers keen on taking the next step to purchase, there is the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur corner, where one can configure their own personalised Porsche, with paint sample swatches and leather options. They can then go to private consultation rooms for further advanced discussions to make the next step in their purchasing journey, and arrange for test drives. Cars are delivered in a delivery area six storeys above the studio, and Porsche promises a truly exclusive delivery experience for every customer.

The new Porsche Studio Singapore is located at Guoco Midtown, 130 Beach Road, #01-12, and is open daily from 10am to 8pm.
