SINGAPORE

From now till the 16 June, car enthusiasts are invited to immerse themselves in an urban jungle-themed experience at the Porsche Studio located in Guoco Midtown Square. On display at the Roughroads showcase reveals an iconic 911 Sports car – The 911 Dakar. Equipped with the Rally Design Package and inspired by Porsche’s very own 1984 Dakar- winning 911 champion, the 911 Dakar is meticulously crafted to conquer the rugged terrains of the Dakar Rally. This model exemplifies the car’s remarkable versatility and prowess in navigating extreme environments. Additionally, highlighted at the event is the facelifted Porsche Cayenne.

So what makes the 911 Dakar so special? Well, for starters, the car can be elevated by 50mm higher than a standard 911 using its standard lift system, making it ideal for any off-road escapades. Furthermore, the 911 Dakar is fortified with reinforced underbody protection and solid steel hooks at front and end for off-road battles. Despite the extra off-road hardware, the 473hp, 3.0 litre flat-six 911 Dakar still manages to do 0-100km/h in 3.4 seconds. Additional options include a roof rack, extra headlights and specialised off-road equipment for those seeking an elevated camping experience.

For those who prefer to journey in a vehicle that once dominated the challenging Transsyberia Rally, comfort is now within reach thanks to the facelifted Porsche Cayenne’s improved damper system.
