The BMW XM is the first M-only car since the M1 supercar of 1979. If you’re wondering what’s so special about that, the BMW M Division is the brand’s specialist motorsport and sports car division that was born in 1972. It works together with the engine to deliver an official fuel consumption figure of 1.6 litres per 100km, and energy is further recuperated via the regenerative braking system, which converts kinetic energy produced from braking into electrical energy, and stores it in the battery.

Its Adaptive M suspension and active roll control offers the perfect blend of sporty handling without compromising on ride comfort.
