Wearnes Singapore will host the Food From The Heart “Heart On Wheels” donation food drive from 2-3 March 2024 at 45 Leng Kee Road.

SINGAPORE

Wearnes Automotive will collaborate with homegrown charity Food from the Heart for the 2024 instalment of their “Heart on Wheels” food donation drive, happening on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2024 from 9am to 6pm.

This isn’t Wearnes and Food from the Heart’s first collaboration, having previously collaborated in 2022 and 2023 – the latter event saw 22,246 food items donated and over $52,000 in funds for the charity.

Food from the Heart hopes to raise up to 25,000 food items this year to help vulnerable communities cope with rising costs of living from inflation and increasing food prices. Donors may follow the following food wish list which includes:

Biscuits (200g – 500g assorted flavours)
Bread Spreads (peanut butter, kaya, fruit jam, hazelnut)
Canned Meat (sardines, chicken, pork)
Cooking Oil (1L)
Instant Beverages (coffee and tea, less sugar)
Instant Noodles
Milo
Oats / Cereals
Rice (1kg – 2.5kg)

Donors may head down to the food donation drive-through at Wearnes Automotive located at 45 Leng Kee Road, in front of the Polestar Space. The first 100 cars may receive an early bird special treat from McDonalds.

Alternatively, donors may donate directly by sponsoring a food bundle or making a cash donation at Food from the Heart’s official website: https://www.foodfromtheheart.sg/how2024/

Donors may also order items on the food wish list from online grocers and have them delivered directly to Wearnes from 2-3 March. Volunteers will be on hand to receive, sort and record all food items delivered.
